Fettuccini Milano

1 lb. bulk Italian sausage (I like half mild and half hot)
3 c. sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 c. green onion, chopped
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. pepper
salt to taste
1/2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. fettuccine
freshly grated parmesan cheese

Cook fettuccine and set aside.
Brown sausage in a skillet. Once cooked, drain the grease from the pan and drain the sausage on paper towels. In the same skillet add the butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted add the garlic and saute about 1 minute (don't let it brown). Then add mushrooms, peppers, green onions, parsley, and all other seasonings. Cook until vegetables are soft and remove from heat. Stir back in sausage. Toss together fettuccine and parmesan cheese, then toss with sauce and serve.
